Gingerbread People Cookies Recipe
My friend told me that this Gingerbread People Cookies is a really good cookie. I have not tried out this Gingerbread People Cookies yet, but posted it on request. Do check it out, my friend is sure you will love it!
Ingredients
| Whole wheat flour | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Allspice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Black strap molasses | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 egg or egg substitute | ||
Directions
Mix flour, baking soda and spices in medium-size bowl.
In large bowl, blend butter, honey and molasses together.
Beat in egg.
Gently mix into dry ingredients thoroughly.
Wrap dough in plastic wrap or waxed paper and refrigerate until firm, approximately 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180 °C).
Divide dough into pieces.
Roll each piece out on lightly floured surface.
Cut into desired shapes and place carefully on oiled or buttered cookie sheet.
Bake in middle of oven for 6-10 minutes, depending on size of cookies.
Remove from sheet carefully.
