 Pineapple1
 1 pound lean ground pork
 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Packed brown sugar1 Tablespoon
 Vinegar1 Tablespoon
 Ground ginger1 Teaspoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
 Tomato sauce1 Can (10oz)
 Water chestnuts1 Can (10oz), drained

Directions

Pare pineapple; cut crosswise into 6 slices, about 1 inch thick.
Arrange pineapple slices on deep round microwavable platter.
Cover pineapple with waxed paper.
Crumble pork and onion in 2 quart microwavable casserole.
Cover tightly and microwave on high 3 minutes; stir.
Cover and microwave until pork is done, 3 to 5 minutes longer; drain.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and microwave 5 minutes; stir.
Cover and microwave until bell pepper is crisp tender, 3 to 5 minutes longer.
Let stand covered 5 minutes.
Microwave pineapple until hot, about 4 minutes.
Serve pork mixture on pineapple slices.
