Ginger Pear Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
| Pears | 4 Medium | |
| Orange juice | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Walnuts | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted | |
| Vanilla ice cream | 1 |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Peel pears; halve and core.
Place pear halves, cut side up, in 10x6x2 inch baking dish.
Drizzle with orange juice.
Combine finely crushed gingersnaps, sugar, walnuts, and melted butter or margarine; sprinkle over pear halves.
Bake at 350° till pears are tender, 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve warm; top with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
