Ginger Pancakes Recipe
Ginger Pancake is a popular dish for breakfast. You will enjoy the mild flavor of ginger and lemon rind in the pancakes. Serve them hot with some sweet syrup and enjoy the breakfast.
Ingredients
All-purpose flour-1/2 cup
Sugar-1 tablespoon
Salt-1/8 teaspoon
Eggs-2, well beaten
Milk-2/3 cup
Butter-1 tablespoon, melted
Lemon rind-1/4 teaspoon, grated
Directions
MAKING
1)In a bowl, sift flour, sugar and salt.
2)In another bowl, add eggs, milk, butter, ginger and lemon rind.
3)Mix it into flour mixture and mix until smooth.
4)Take a small 6-inch skillet and heat it on medium heat, grease it lightly with butter.
5)Pour about 2 tablespoons of the batter into skillet and spread to form thin layer.
6)Cook until set and browned from both sides.
7)As each pancake is baked, place on a shallow pan and roll. Cover with a clean towel.
SERVING
8)Serve the ginger pancake immediately.
