Ginger Pears Recipe
Ingredients
| Firm ripe pears - 6 | ||
| Honey | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water - 1/3 cup, hot | ||
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2) Peel the pears, cut into half and core them.
MAKING
3) In a large casserole, arrange the pear halves in a single layer.
4) In a small bowl, mix the honey, hot water and ginger together.
5) Drizzle over the pears and dot with butter.
6) Bake, covered on middle shelf of the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
SERVING
7) Serve the Ginger Pears on dessert plates.
