Ginger Crisps Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/4 cups unbleached white flour | ||
| Whole wheat pastry flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 tsp. each cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice | ||
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Molasses | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup unsalted margarine | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
Directions
Combine dry ingredients.
Set aside.
Cream sugar, molasses and margarine.
Beat in egg.
Add dry ingredients.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoons onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Flatten cookies with back of spoon or fingers.
Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool.
