Ginger Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| MIX TOGETHER THOROUGHLY: 1/4 cup soft shortening | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 Small | |
| Molasses | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| STIR IN: 1/2 cup water | ||
| SIFT TOGETHER AND ADD: 2 cups flour | ||
| Soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cloves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Chill dough.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls about 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 7-8 minutes in moderately hot oven (400 degrees)? until set.
Should leave imprint when lightly touched with finger.
