 6 medium carrots, scraped and cut into 1/2-inch slices
 Lemon juice2 Teaspoon
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Ground ginger1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1 Dash
 Butter2 Tablespoon

Directions

Put carrots in buttered 1-quart casserole.
Mix lemon juice and seasonings; pour over carrots and dot with butter.
Cover and bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 1 hour, or until carrots are tender.
Makes 4 servings.
