German's Chocolate Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
Sweet cooking chocolate-1 package (4 ounces)
All-purpose flour-2 cups, sifted
Baking soda -1/2 teaspoon
Salt -1/2 teaspoon
Butter or other shortening-3/4 cup
Sugar -3/4 cup
Eggs-2, unbeaten
Vanilla -1/2 teaspoon
Black walnuts-1/2 cup, chopped
Chocolate Glaze-as needed
Directions
MAKING
1)Over hot water in a pan, melt chocolate and cool.
2)In another sift flour once, measure, add soda and salt, and sift again.
3)In a bowl, beat shortening, add sugar gradually, and cream together until light and fluffy.
4)Add eggs and beat well.
5)Add melted chocolate and blend well.
6)Then, add flour and mix well.
7)Add vanilla and nuts.
8)Take greased baking sheet and drop spoonsful of batter on it.
9)Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
10)Spread warm cookies with Chocolate Glaze.
