German Style Spinach Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 or 2 tablespoons butter, margarine, or oil | ||
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Frozen spinach package | 1 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Heat butter in large frypan.
Add onion; cook until tender.
Add flour; cook and stir until mixture begins to thicken.
Add water; mix until smooth.
Add spinach; cover.
Cook about 15 minutes; stir occasionally as spinach thaws.
Season with salt and pepper.
