In fact only a very few recipes include beer in the german kitchen. So write what you want, but thats not how germans usually make their chicken at all. P.S. Im from germany and i have never heard of any chicken recipe including beer!

Of course it doesn't have to have the beer in it to be German. In fact most baked or fried chicken in Germany does not include beer. Reading the ingredients, this could also be Maryland Chicken.
