German Chocolate Chip Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1 (18.25-ounce) package German chocolate cake mix without pudding
1 (9.9-ounce) package coconut-pecan frosting mix
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate mini-morsels
Sifted powdered sugar (optional)
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl, beat at low speed of an electric mixer 4 minutes.
Stir in chocolate morsels, spoon into a greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 5 to 10 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove from pan, and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
