German Veal Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 veal loin or rib chops | ||
| Butter or margarine | ||
| Onions | 2 Medium, sliced | |
| 1 cup dark beer | ||
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a skillet heat butter and brown veal in it.
2) Fry onion in the skillet till golden
3) Stir in beer, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Cook covered simmering for 15 minutes.
4) Put veal and onion to a platter.
5) In a bowl make a paste of flour and a little water.
6) Add the mixture to the cooking liquid in skillet.
7) Cook stirring constantly till thick and smooth.
SERVING
8) Pour the sauce over veal and onion and serve.
