German Twists Recipe

|Pecans||1 1⁄2 Pound, finely chopped|
|Packed brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|For the glaze:|
|Confectioners sugar||1 Pound|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|

Chill, covered, overnight.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine pecans and brown sugar in bowl; mix well.
Divide dough into 6 portions.
Roll each portion into 12-inch circle on surface sprinkled with confectioners' sugar.
Cut each circle into 16 wedges, like a pizza.
Sprinkle each circle with 1/6 of pecan mixture.
Roll each wedge up from wide end.
Shape into crescents on baking sheet.
Repeat process with remaining dough.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until brown.
To glaze the cookies: Drizzle warm twists with mixture of confectioners' sugar and milk.
