 Sauerkraut2 Cup (16 tbs), drained
 1 small onion, chopped or 1 tablespoon instant minced onion

 Pork chops4 , smoked
 Water1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

In 2-quart (8 x 8) baking dish, mix together half of sauerkraut, onion, apple, and sugar.
Top with chops; layer remaining sauerkraut, onion, apple and sugar over chops.
Mix this layer lightly to distribute ingredients.
Pour water over mixture and cook covered with wax paper, 8 to 10 minutes or until apple is tender.
