 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, reserve drippings
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad oil)
 Flour3 Tablespoon (Salad oil)
 Salt2 Teaspoon (Salad oil)
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon (Salad oil)
 Cider vinegar1 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad oil)
 Water1 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad oil)
 4 pounds salad potatoes, cooked and sliced
 Green onions4 Small, chopped (Salad oil)

Directions

Add enough oil to bacon drippings to make 1/2 cup.
Add sugar, flour, salt and pepper to drippings; stir until smooth.
Gradually stir in vinegar and water; cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour over potatoes and onions; set aside at room temperature for 3 hours.
Sprinkle with bacon and serve.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
