German Spinach Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Small fresh spinach leaves - 1 pound | ||
| Mayonnaise | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Anchovies | 6 | |
| Green-onion tops - 1 1/2 tablespoons, chopped | ||
| Parsley | 1 1/2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Vinegar | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1/2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Cheddar-cheese cubes or garlic croutons | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. Prepare the spinach by washing and drying them.
2. In a bowl mix remaining ingredients except cheese, add to spinach and mix lightly.
SERVING
3. Garnish with cheese and serve.
