German Skillet Supper Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 6 | |
| 1 medium cabbage, cut into 6 wedges | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 pound Polish kielbasa sausage, cut into 6 pieces | ||
Directions
Fry bacon in skillet until crisp.
Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings; crumble bacon.
Bring reserved drippings, cabbage, onion, water and sugar to a boil in saucepan; reduce heat.
Cook, covered, over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add kielbasa; mix well.
Cook, covered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with bacon.
