German Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 potatoes, peeled and grated | ||
| Onion | 1 , grated | |
| Egg substitute equivalent to 1 egg | ||
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
1. Combine flour, potato, onion, egg substitute, and pepper.
2. Heat oil in skillet. Drop batter from a tablespoon into the hot oil.
3. Fry until golden brown on both sides.

Gingerbread says :
During my 30 years living in Germany, I came across this all-in-one dish served to me by a family in the Swabia/Black Forest Region; they called it "Katzagschrei", the cat's meow. You can add sliced lean smoked turkey sausage, which comes closest to "magere Stadtwurst" which traditionally goes with this dish.
