German Potato Salad Sandwiches Recipe
|8 fully cooked smoked sausage links (12 ounces)|
|1 16-ounce can German-style potato salad|
|4 English muffins, split and toasted|
|French onion||1 8 Ounce|
GETTING READY 1) Get ready with the ingredients and the utensils required for the cooking. MAKING 2) In a saucepan, place the eggs and cover with cold water so that they are hard-cooked. 3) Boil and reduce heat to just below simmering. 4) Cover and cook further for 15-20 minutes. 5) In cold water, cool the eggs. 6) Remove shells, chop the eggs and set aside. 7) Using a sharp knife, slit each sausage crosswise into 7 sections, about 1/2 inch apart, cutting almost to, but not through other side. 8) Shape each cut sausage into a circle and set aside. 9) Atop each muffin half, spoon some potato salad. 10) Top with sausage circle. 11) Into the center, spoon sour cream. 12) On a baking sheet, place sausage and broil 3 to 4 inches from heat for 6 minutes. SERVING 13) Top with chopped eggs and serve hot.
