German Potato Salad With Bacon Recipe
Ingredients
4 slices bacon
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery or chicken soup
1/4 cup water
2 to 3 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 cups sliced cooked potatoes
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Directions
Cook bacon until crisp; remove from skillet; drain and crumble.
Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender.
Blend in soup, water, vinegar, sugar, and pepper.
Heat; stir occasionally.
Add potatoes, parsley, and bacon; simmer 5 minutes.
