German Potato Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 2 | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion | ||
| 2 16-ounce cans sliced potatoes,drained | ||
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 teaspoon dijon-style mustard | ||
Directions
In skillet cook bacon till crisp.
Drain bacon, reserving drippings in skillet.
Crumble bacon; set aside.
Stir sugar, flour, salt, and pepper into reserved drippings.
Add water, vinegar, and onion.
Cook and stir till mixture thickens and bubbles.
Stir in drained potatoes; heat through.
Remove from heat; blend in sour cream and mustard.
Turn into serving bowl; sprinkle with bacon.
