Directions

Beat the eggs until light and pale yellow.
Sift the flour with the salt and add to the eggs alternately with the milk.
Beat constantly.
Generously butter the bottom and sides of a 10-inch (25-cm) pan.
Pour in the batter and bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven for about 20 minutes.

Gingerbread says :

This is not a common German pancake recipe. Sounds like it would be an American "hubcap" style. Energy-wise, turning on the oven for one small dish seems to be a bit of overkill. A final question, what is the lemon used for?
