Georgia Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 large lean pork chops | ||
| Shortening | ||
| 4 thick onion slices | ||
| Peanut butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mushroom | 1/2 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 teaspoon each of Worcestershire and salt | ||
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Brown pork chops on both sides in small amount of shortening.
Pour off shortening.
Top each chop with a slice of onion.
Mix peanut butter, mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
Pour over chops.
Cover and cook slowly for 45 minutes.
