Genoa Buns Recipe

Ingredients
6 tbsp butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup almond powder
4 large eggs
1 oz rum
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cornstarch
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
Butter a muffin pan.
Set aside.
In a bowl, beat first 3 ingredients.
While mixing, add eggs one at a time.
Set aside.
In a second bowl, combine rum and vanilla extract.
Fold into first mixture.
Set aside.
In a third bowl, sift dry ingredients.
Fold into liquid mixture.
Pour dough into cups.
Bake in oven 30-35 minutes.
