Gelatin Poke Layer Cake Recipe

Ingredients
2 baked 8- or 9-inch white cake layers, cooled
2 packages (4-serving size) or 1 package (8-serving size) JELL-O® Brand Gelatin, any flavor
2 cups boiling water
3 1/2 cups (8 ounces) COOL WHIP® Non-Dairy Whipped Topping, thawed
Directions
Place cake layers, top-side up, in 2 clean 8- or 9-inch cake pans.
Prick each cake with utility fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Carefully spoon over cake layers.
Chill 3 to 4 hours.
Dip 1 cake pan in warm water for 10 seconds; then unmold onto serving plate.
Top with about 1 cup of the whipped topping.
Unmold second cake layer and carefully place on first layer.
Frost top and sides with remaining whipped topping.
Chill.
