Home Made Geflite Fish Recipe
Ingredients
| 12 ounces boned whitefish, chopped | ||
| 12 ounces boned pike, chopped | ||
| Onion | 4 Ounce, chopped | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Skim milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unflavored gelatin | 1 | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 packet instant chicken broth and seasoning mix | ||
| 1 cup cooked sliced carrots | ||
Directions
Put fish, onion, and celery through a meat grinder twice, or process in food processor until ground.
In bowl combine fish mixture with salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
Gradually add milk and combine.
Shape into 4 equal oval patties.
Poach in simmering salted water for 15 minutes.
Remove patties with a slotted spoon and place on serving dish.
Allow to cool; cover and refrigerate.
In another saucepan sprinkle gelatin over water and allow to soften.
Add broth mix and heat, stirring to dissolve.
Chill until slightly firm.
Dice and arrange gelatin and carrots around poached fish.
Divide evenly.
