4 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg yolk
3/4 cup (83 ml) olive oil
juice of two lemons
1 teaspoon oregano
Directions
Mash garlic to a paste with the salt.
Beat the egg yolk and add to the garlic.
Mix well.
Add the olive oil a little at a time to the garlic and egg yolk mixture.
Mix in the lemon juice and oregano.(If desired, whisk in an electric blender.)
