Garlic Meatballs In Lemon Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
Meatballs
1 1/2 pounds extra-lean ground beef
3 slices bread, torn into soft crumbs
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves chopped
2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
2 eggs
Lemon Sauce
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
Grated rind from 2 lemons
1/4 cup lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, minced
Directions
Combine all ingredients for the meatballs and form into walnut sized balls.
Place in slow cooker.
Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs.
Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
Serve with rice.
