Garlic Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cluster garlic buds | ||
| Scallions | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 2 Large, chopped | |
| Fat | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 1-1/2 T. chopped dill | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Chop garlic very fine.
Add garlic, chopped onions and seasonings to 2 quarts water.
Boil until onions are tender.
Fry scallions and add parsley.
Cover and simmer until tender.
Add flour and brown.
Add boiling water to make thick sauce.
Cook slowly for 10 minutes.
Add to garlic and onions in broth.
Cook 10 minutes more.
Strain soup and then bring to boil.
Simmer 20 minutes and serve with chopped dill.
