Garlic Sausage Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 lb. lean bacon pieces | ||
| 1/2 lb. minced ground steak | ||
| Sausage meat | 3/4 Pound | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Eggs | 2 Small, beaten | |
| 6 oz. soft breadcrumbs | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Put bacon pieces through mincer, or chop finely.
Combine with remaining ingredients, mix well.
Form mixture into thick sausage roll, long.
Tie firmly in well-floured pudding cloth.
Lower carefully into saucepan of boiling water, making sure sausage is well covered.
Boil steadily, covered, 2 1/2 hours.
Remove from water, drain, and leave in cloth to cool.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Remove cloth.
