Garlic Herbed Bread Chunks Recipe
Ingredients
| Italian bread loaf | 1 Large | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 pound | |
| Oregano | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| 1 teaspoon parsley flakes or 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 4 Tablespoon, grated | |
Directions
Cut bread in half lengthwise through the center.
Cut bread in thick 2-inch slices, then cut each slice into quarters to make chunks.
Have the butter or margarine at room temperature so it is soft.
Use a garlic press to crush the garlic, letting the juice run into the butter.
Add all the other seasonings and mix together.
Spread butter on all sides of bread chunks.
Place on a large sheet of foil and secure edges tightly.
Refrigerate until shortly before serving.
Partially open the foil and heat the bread in the oven for 30 minutes.
Remove from foil and serve.
