Garlic Curry Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic, 2 to 4 pods | ||
| Curds | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Onion, big size, 1 | ||
| Green chillies | 3 (Masala to grind :) | |
| Coriander leaves, 1 small bunch | ||
| Ginger, 1 small piece | ||
| Grated coconut | 2 Tablespoon (Masala to grind :) | |
| Cinnamon pieces | 2 (Garam masala to grind :) | |
| Cloves, 2 or 3 | ||
| Cornflour | 1 Tablespoon (Garam masala to grind :) | |
| Ghee | 2 Tablespoon (Garam masala to grind :) | |
| Coriander powder | 1 1/2 Tablespoon (Garam masala to grind :) | |
| Chilli powder, 1. teaspoon | ||
| Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon (Garam masala to grind :) | |
| Turmeric | 1 Teaspoon (Garam masala to grind :) | |
| Cardamoms | 3 (Garam masala to grind :) | |
| Pepper corns, 3 | ||
Directions
Peel garlic and cut each clove into 3 to 4 pieces.
Boil them in plenty of salted boiling water.
Strain and keep aside.
Heat ghee, add cumin, green masala paste, chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
Cook the masala for some time.
Add curds (well beaten).
Cook for five minutes more.
Add garlic and cook on low fire for five minutes.
Add enough water for gravy.
Lastly, add garam masala and cornflour mixed with some milk.
Boil them in plenty of salted boiling water.
Strain and keep aside.
Heat ghee, add cumin, green masala paste, chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
Cook the masala for some time.
Add curds (well beaten).
Cook for five minutes more.
Add garlic and cook on low fire for five minutes.
Add enough water for gravy.
