Garlic and Walnut Pesto with Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients
| Spinach | 5 Ounce | |
| Garlic | 6 Clove (5gm) | |
| Parsley sprigs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Anchovy fillets - 4 | ||
| Tarragon | 3 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Dried tarragon | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Basil | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Dried basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Olive oil | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Thin spaghetti - 1 (16-ounce) package | ||
| Basil leaves | 4 | |
Directions
MAKING
1 Removethe stems from spinach.
2 Thoroughly wash the leaves in lukewarm water.
3 Tear into bite-size pieces.
4 Fit the food processor bowl with a knife blade and add in the spinach.
5 Add in the next 9 ingredients.
6 Cover and process until smooth.
7 Gradually pour oil throughthe food chute in a slow, steady stream until combined, with the processor running,
8 As per the package directions, prepare the spaghetti.
9 Drain well.
10 In a bowl, toss the spaghetti with garlic mixture.
SERVING
11 Serve garnished with pimiento and basil leaves. (optional)
