Garbanzo Recipe
I am sharing this recipe of Garbanzo/chick Pea which is near and dear to my heart. The primary ingredient in Garbanzo/chick Pea is always Vegetable. It is an effortless Main Dish. This is an ideal dish to include in today's menu.
Ingredients
2 c dried peas or garbanzos, soaked overnight
2 anchovy fillets
1 t green onions, chopped
2 t parsley, chopped
1/2 c yogurt
1 t sea salt
1 t lemon juice
Directions
Cover peas with water and bring to a boil.
Drain.
Add water to cover again and bring to a boil again.
Turn down heat and simmer 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until tender.
Chop anchovy fillets and combine with remaining ingredients and peas.
Chill for several hours.
