Ingredients

 Ground beef1/2 pound
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Garlic salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Large onions - 2, chopped
 Tomatoes28 Ounce
 Garbanzos - 4 cups cooked ( Canned garbanzos - 2, 16 ounce cans)
 Water chestnuts - 2, 8-ounce cans, drained and well sliced
 Cheddar Cheese1/2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350°

MAKING
2. In a skillet brown the meat.
3. Add the remaining 5 ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Combine garbanzos with water chestnuts. Stir to blend well.
5. In a 2 1/2-quart casserole pour the ingredients.
6. Sprinkle cheese as topping.
7. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°

SERVING
8. Serve Garbanzo Casserole hot.
