Gangbang Beef In Red Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 pounds rump of beef | ||
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Canned tomatoes | 8 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 8 Medium, sliced | |
| Carrots | 6 , sliced | |
| Celery stalks | 2 | |
| Red wine | 5 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), halved | |
| Whole black peppercorns | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Beef broth | 1 1/4 Quart | |
Directions
Brown meat on all sides in melted butter in skillet.
Transfer meat to a rack in covered roaster or Dutch oven.
Add tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, wine and seasonings.
Add broth to cover meat.
Roast at 3500 for about 2 1/2 hours, until meat is tender.
Remove meat to a hot platter and strain broth.
Serve broth hot with meat.
Serves 16 to 18.
