Gamberi Con Limone Recipe
Ingredients
Shrimp 24
Juice of 1 lemon
Tomato paste 1 tbsp.
Brandy 2 oz.
Salt 1/2 tsp.
Pepper Pinch
Heavy cream 4 oz.
Tabasco sauce 4 drops
Worcestershire sauce 4 drops
Apple, peeled and chopped 1
Parsley, chopped 1 tsp.
Iceberg lettuce, shredded 2 cups
Lemon wedges 4-6
Directions
Cook shrimp and cool, then shell and devein leaving the tails on.
Meanwhile, mix the lemon juice, tomato paste, brandy and seasonings together in a bowl.
Whip the cream until it is stiff, then fold into the mixture with the next 4 ingredients.
Put shredded lettuce in the bottoms of large cocktail glasses, and stand the shrimps up around the sides.
Spoon sauce into the middle, and serve with lemon wedges.
