Galopita Recipe

This Galopita is very delicious . Along with it is related my childhood memories.When I returned home from school, my mother used to prepare this dessert and we enjoyed devouring it. So if you want to make your kids happy, try this galopita recipe .

Ingredients

 
1 1/2 qts. milk (heat until butter melts)
 
8 eggs
 
3/4 c. sugar
 
2 lbs. butter
 
For Syrup:
 
2 c. water
 
1 c. sugar

Directions

Stage1-Add 1 cup farina and stir until thickens. Set aside to cool.

Stage2-Beat 8 eggs, then add to farina batter. Mix well.

Stage3- Bake in 9 x 16 inch pan, greased, 350 degrees fareinhite for 55 minutes.

Stage4-Cut into squares while warm, pour syrup over cake, and sprinkle with cinnamon. You may add cherry to each square for decorative look.

For syrup:
Boil 30 minutes.
