Galgai Large Lemon D Chilli Pickle Recipe
Galgai Large Lemon D Chilli Pickle has a grand taste. The malt vinegar with chilli powder and sugar gives the Galgai Large Lemon D Chilli Pickle a majestic taste.
Ingredients
| 1 kg galgals washed and cut into | ||
| 1/2" pieces and deseeded | ||
| Salt | 150 Gram | |
| 200 gms green chillies cut in 1/2" pieces | ||
| Fenugreek seeds | 1 Tablespoon, pounded | |
| Rye | 2 Teaspoon, pounded | |
| Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chilli powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 750 Gram | |
| Malt vinegar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 tsp. potassium meta bi sulphate | ||
Directions
Microwave galgal with salt for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix in chillies and microwave for another 5 minutes, stirring in between.
Mix all the other ingredients except vinegar and meta bi sulphate.
Leave covered overnight.
Mix in vinegar.
Dissolve meta bi sulphate in 1 tbsp water and mix it into the pickle.
Pour into an airtight sterilized jar.
The pickle will be ready after 10 days and will keep for 6 months.
Mix in chillies and microwave for another 5 minutes, stirring in between.
Mix all the other ingredients except vinegar and meta bi sulphate.
