3/4 cup butter or margarine , melted

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease 13" by 9" baking pan. In 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, heat milk and heavy cream to boiling. In bowl, mix farina and sugar; gradually sprinkle into milk mixture, stirring with spoon; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring, until mixture thickens slightly, 5 to 10 minutes; remove from heat.
2. In large bowl, with mixer at high speed, beat egg yolks and vanilla well. Reduce speed to medium and gradually beat in farina mixture.
3. In baking pan, place 1 sheet of phyllo, allowing it to extend up side of pan; brush with melted butter or margarine. Repeat to make about 5 more layers; pour farina mixture into phyllo-lined pan.
4. Cut remaining phyllo into approximately 13" by 9" rectangles. Place 1 sheet of phyllo on farina; brush with butter or margarine. Repeat with remaining phyllo and butter, overlapping small strips of phyllo to make rectangles, if necessary. Cut top phyllo layers lengthwise into 4 strips; cut each strip into 6 pieces.
