Fudgy Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup warm water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
1 Preheat the ovento350° F.
Lightly grease an 8" x 8" x 2" baking pan.
In a large bowl, stir together the cocoa and water and let stand for 5 minutes.
Stir in the oil, granu lated sugar, brown sugar, egg whites, and vanilla.
Add the baking powder, salt, and flour and stir for 2 minutes.
Fold in the nuts, then pourthe mixture into the prepared pan.
2 Bake for 20 minutes or until set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan, then cut into 2-inch squares
