Chocolaty Fudge Sauce Recipe
Fudge sauce is a rich and creamy dessert sauce made with unsweetened chocolate and evaporated milk. The fudge sauce is a cooked sauce and is flavored with ahint of vanilla. A delightful dessert sauce, the fudge sauce can be served warm or cold and goes best with chocolate cakes and brownies.
Ingredients
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Directions
Combine corn syrup, sugar, and water; cook to the softball stage (236°).
Remove from heat; add chocolate and stir till chocolate melts.
Add vanilla.
Slowly stir in evaporated milk; mix thoroughly.
Serve warm or cool.
