Fudge Nut Crunch Recipe

1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup butter
1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips
Directions
Sprinkle nuts over bottom of lightly greased pan. Combine sugar and butter in medium saucepan; bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 4 to 5 minutes or to a temperature of 270 degrees F. on candy thermometer. Pour cooked mixture over nuts in pan. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips. Cover for 2 minutes; then evenly spread chips. Chill until topping is firm. Remove from pan and break or cut into pieces.
