Fudge Frosting Recipe
This fudge frosting recipe is one of my most loved frosting recipes. I have often eaten this out of the bowl after using it! made with chocolate, milk and sugar with marshmallows for a creamy texture, the fudge frosting is made with a hint of vanilla and is cooked to prepare.
Ingredients
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 11/2 Tablespoon | |
| Chocolate square | 2 | |
| Corn syrup | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Marshmallows- 6 or Marshmallow whip- 2 heaping tablespoons | ||
Directions
MAKING
1.In a saucepan, place the first five ingredients and boil to soft ball stage (234° F.)
2.Remove from fire and stir in the marshmallows just until they dissolve
3.Cool and add vanilla and beat until right consistency to spread on cake
SERVING
4.Serve over cakes and pastries
