Fudge Frosted Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1 package (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate pieces
2 tablespoons water
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose biscuit mix
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
1. Line an 8-inch round glass cake dish with waxed paper cut to fit. Set aside.
2. Melt semisweet chocolate in a 1-quart glass measuring pitcher in microwave oven (about 2 1/2 minutes at High); stir once. Add water, sweetened condensed milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; stir with a spoon until smooth. Pour into lined dish.
3. Combine biscuit mix, sugar, shortening, egg and 1/4 cup milk in a small bowl; beat 1 minute. Add remaining 1/4 cup milk and the vanilla extract; beat 1 minute. Pour batter over chocolate mixture. Cover with waxed paper.
4. Cook in microwave oven 8 to 8 1/2 minutes at Medium-High, or until a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean; rotate dish one-quarter turn once.
