Fudge Filled Peanut Butter Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided | ||
| Yellow cake mix package | 1 | |
| Peanut butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate morsels package | 1 | |
| Sweetened condensed milk | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Frosting package | 1 | |
Directions
Microwave 1/2 cup butter in a 2 1/2-quart glass casserole at HIGH 1 minute.
Add cake mix, peanut butter, and eggs.
Mix together to form a soft dough.
Press dough into the bottom of a 13- x 9-inch glass baking dish.
Microwave chocolate morsels, milk, and 2 tablespoons butter in a 4-cup glass measure at HIGH 1 minute.
Stir.
Spread chocolate mixture over dough.
Microwave at HIGH 5 minutes.
Rotate dish 1/2 turn.
Microwave at MEDIUM 6 to 7 minutes.
Cool.
Prepare coconut pecan frosting according to directions and frost before cutting.
Add cake mix, peanut butter, and eggs.
Mix together to form a soft dough.
