Frying Batter Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup flour
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup beer
1 egg white, stiffly beaten
Directions
1. Sift the flour and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir in the butter and egg. Add the beer gradually, stirring only until the mixture is smooth.
2. Let the batter stand in a warm place one hour, then fold in the beaten egg white.
