Cover and set aside overnight for the fruits to soak in the tea.
The next day, lightly grease a 1kg (2 lb) loaf tin and line it with baking parchment.
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4.
Add all the remaining ingredients to the bowl of soaked fruits and stir them in well.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared loaf tin.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean.
Cool the loaf for 10 minutes in the tin, then transfer it to a wire rack to finish cooling.
