Ingredients

 Hot water4 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 cups quick-cooking oats
 3/4 cup chopped dried apricots or raisins
 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Butter1 Tablespoon
 Ground cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 Ground nutmeg1/8 Teaspoon
 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger dash ground cloves or allspice

Directions

1. Combine water, oats, fruit, sugar, and salt in a 2-quart casserole. Cover, Microwave at Power Level 10 for 4 to 5 minutes or until oatmeal thickens, stirring twice.
2. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Cover and let stand 3 minutes before serving.
